Pivot to Marvel Crisis Protocol

This past fall I had a bit of a self realization about Warhammer 40k.

I love the setting. I love the story. I really want to love the game, but after playing in several tournaments and trying to play competitively I just got over it in a big way.

Too many games of two hours to get through turn 2. Too many rule books, supplements, updates, and all of the meta hopping.

One night while playing a game at a local shop, I observed some folks playing Marvel Crisis Protocol and asked them to explain it to me. I bought the starter box and my son and I played it together and had fun.

Then we discovered a local group that meets weekly and we were in.

It’s been months since I posted, but I haven’t been idle. I’ve learned a bunch and painted more. I also bought a 3d printer.

More to come
